OUR HISTORY
La Détente opened the 10Th of July, 1995, in a store of approximately 7,000 square feet, at 573, boulevard Maloney Est. in Gatineau.
The store was designed to offer the finest living room furniture of the LA-Z-BOY company and a few other manufacturers from Canada and Quebec in a well accessorized environment.
It was in 2002 that we relocated to a much larger and better location. Being the 25, chemin de la Savane in Gatineau.
Our showroom has an area of nearly 15,000 square feet where you find dining rooms, bedrooms, living rooms sets and a multitude of accessories that will make you dream. Our goal is to encourage Canada and Quebec manufacturers. All well harmonized and ensuring that our store as the most beautiful setting in Outaouais region.
Being attentive to our customer’s demands and requests, we take the time to listen to your needs and advise you to successfully create a setting that will exceed your expectations. La Détente is different from large surface stores.
